Konkonte, affectionately known as lapiwa, is a much-loved Ghanaian staple prepared from cassava roots that are peeled, sliced, sun-dried and finely milled into a smooth, pale-brown flour. Cooked into a soft, elastic dough and served with traditional soups, it delivers a hearty, satisfying meal with deep, authentic local character.

Supplied in 500 g, 1 kg and 2 kg moisture-barrier consumer packs and 25 kg bulk sacks. Available under the Pearasmusbay brand or as a customer-branded private-label product, with pack format and artwork adapted to your market and channel.

Produced from mature cassava roots sourced from selected Ghanaian farming communities, sun-dried under controlled conditions and milled in food-grade facilities for consistent fineness and low moisture. Naturally gluten-free, with no additives or preservatives.
Suggested uses
Cooked with boiling water into a smooth dough and traditionally served with groundnut soup, palm nut soup, light soup, okra stew or kontomire — a wholesome, filling meal enjoyed across Ghana.
